photos
There are lots of photos on the diary pages, but with two cute looking pigs and at least 4 or 5 cameras around we needed somewhere to put the collection!
On the way to pick up our bigs we had to pass our local abatoir / butcher. Our pig farmer asked us to pick up some sausages for him.... they were bigger than the pigs!
Charlie demonstrating a slightly better but still procarious way to hold a wriggling, squealing piglet.
After an exhausting first day the piglets seem to appreciate their new bedroom and snuggle down for a rest. In fact they were still asleep when we woke them gone 9 the next morning!
Minty starts digging, at first we thought he was just after roots and acorns, now we think he's got a great escape plan.
It took two of us to carry each of these cast iron pipes. Hopefully the weight will be enough to stop the pigs digging under them.
A lovely rough-barked log, that we dug in as a scratching post....which the boys totally ignored.
